Ashley & Rudy’s Snow Day Love Story

Blustery winds, colorful balloons, and a beautiful couple is is my recipe for a wonderful day! Ashley wanted “fun and fabulous” engagement photos, and I think we got her just that! We started downtown at Treft.Punkt and quickly made our way down to Potters Marsh before the sunset was spent. Snowball fights, boardwalks, and balloons all in the face of -1 winds! I couldn’t be happier with our photos either. I had a wonderful time Ashley & Rudy, you were amazing!

Bobbi & Adam a Snow City Love Story

I had so much fun with Bobbi and Adam today! I’ve been so busy with love story sessions lately! You’d think I’d get bored, but each couple is so different and I love photographing couples the best! Bobbi is sweet and quiet, and Adam is her perfect match, outspoken and completely sarcastic! Together, they are great to be around, I love their banter back and forth. Joleen & Jason Wedding Day

I’ve never done a Day-of-the-wedding shoot before, but I love them! Joleen, Jason, and I had a great time in the freezing snow today! Joleen and Jason have been dating for 16 years, and are still completely and totally in love. They are a positive and happy couple, and a joy to be around. They both teach P.E. for the Anchorage School District, and love Cross Country and Hockey, so I knew we needed to be shooting outside. I always love to see couples who’ve kept the spark of love alive in their relationship. I wish you both all the best in your new marriage. Thanks for letting be a part of your special day!

Christian’s Urban Winter Senior Photos

I’ve been looking forward to Christian’s senior photos since he called the studio last week. Christian wanted to have senior photos taken downtown around the more industrial areas. I love shooting on snowy days like today, it makes the cold much more bearable! We started out at our 5th ave portrait studio, Treft.Punkt than traversed the snowdrifts of 4th avenue and Ship Creek. Christian was an awesome model, and didn’t even complain once. Alaskans sure are a hearty stock! Congratulations Christian, can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!

Christina & Bobby a Snowday Love Story

I love love, and beautiful couples like Bobby & Christina! For their Love-story session we met at Kinkaid Park’s Little Campbell Lake to take some photos in the frosty and frozen sunset. Christina and Bobby both skated when they were younger, though Christina was a figure skater, and Bobby played hockey. Since skating was a big part of their lives, they wanted images of the two of them on the ice. After a short drive, and a car heater on full blast we took photos downtown at Town Square Park’s makeshift ice rink. I found out after their session that Bobby proposed Christmas Day! Congratulations Bobby and Christina!
