Stratton Family Winter Photos!

Happy, creative, fun, vivacious, energetic, and precocious are a few words I’d use to describe the Stratton family. I’ve known Jennifer for about four years now, through the Mrs. Alaska Pageant, where I first got to know this wonder woman of a mom. Her Facebook is always a good read, there’s always SOMETHING going on that’s new and exciting. How she can get so much done, and be so sane is beyond me! Her kids are among the most well rounded and cheerful children I know. Mia Grace is a little ball of fire, and Morgan is a perfectly wonderful little actress! I love this family, and am so happy I get to know them! Oh and Bob’s alright too! Thanks for a wonderful frosty day today!

Sierra Slade Chugiak Highschool Senior

Sierra Slade totally rocks my socks, I was able to take photos of her a couple years ago when she was Miss Alaska Outstanding Teen. Sierra came to the shoot with the perfect selection of different outfits, Country Singer, Biker Chick, Hippie, and Sweet Sierra Styles. We had a fantastic time shooting, and I can’t wait till I get to take her photos this winter for the second half of her senior photos. Thanks Sierra, you’re one awesome girl!

Jennifer and Taylor Garbutt Wedding

I am so happy that I got to shoot Taylor and Jennifer’s wedding just a hop and a skip away from Alyeska Resort. The ceremony and reception were both held at Crow Creek Mine in Girdwood, and we lucked out on almost perfect weather for the whole day. I just love it when Girdwood has those misty peaks that fade into the sky. I love Jen and Taylor, their wedding was beautiful and Jen did a wonderful job weaving peacock feathers into all the different areas of the event. Congratulations you two!

Krista and Damon Pemberton Wedding

I think I’m in love with Canada, for Krista and Damon’s I traveled to the Perry Sound near Toronto. The Pemberton’s little quaint family cottage was the perfect setting to have this sweet little wedding. Krista and Damon are so sweet and happy with one another that catching gentle moments was almost too easy for me. Congratulations you two!

Land Family Photos

What a great family! The Lands are such a fun and easygoing bunch, I had a blast with them today. I shot Steven’s senior photos last fall and Lisa contacted me last month about taking some shots of their family before he headed off to college. We got a bit of a workout walking all over downtown through various alleyways and sidewalks, but our field pictures are the ones that stole the day, it was the perfect backdrop for such a sweet family. Lots of rain equals lots or mosquitoes, and apparently they love tall grass, I think Rachel was about three bites away from needing an IV to keep her going. Thanks guys, hope you had as much fun as I did!
