Yesterday Mitch and I met up with Jen and Nicole, two of the sweetest girls you might ever meet, from capturing them at home, to walking with them through the park these girls were a joy to be around. Our Love is Love sessions have been so amazing, getting to know such beautiful couples so in love with each other, and these two were no exception! Thanks for such a wonderful shoot you two, can’t wait to hangout again!
I feel like I’m in high school again, today I went on an impromptu road-trip to Seward with two of my amazing friends! Sarah Devereux and Ryan McCormick other wise know as McDev are the funniest couple I think I’ve ever photographed! Russian, Italian, and Korean accents, along with a array of jokes that I won’t write here, I laughed so hard my sides were charlie-horsing! One things for sure, their future together has a whole lot of joy in it! After our mad dash across south-central Alaska we popped into Carrs/Safeway for a bit of quick grocery shopping! Sarah and Ryan told me they LOVE to spend hours roaming the isles of grocery stores before they cook romantic “gourmet” meals together (Hamburger Helper I presume.) I have not had this much fun in a long time, thanks Sarah and Ryan, you are both amazing and I am blessed to have friends as wonderful as you!

Blustery winds, colorful balloons, and a beautiful couple is is my recipe for a wonderful day! Ashley wanted “fun and fabulous” engagement photos, and I think we got her just that! We started downtown at Treft.Punkt and quickly made our way down to Potters Marsh before the sunset was spent. Snowball fights, boardwalks, and balloons all in the face of -1 winds! I couldn’t be happier with our photos either. I had a wonderful time Ashley & Rudy, you were amazing!

I had so much fun with Bobbi and Adam today! I’ve been so busy with love story sessions lately! You’d think I’d get bored, but each couple is so different and I love photographing couples the best! Bobbi is sweet and quiet, and Adam is her perfect match, outspoken and completely sarcastic! Together, they are great to be around, I love their banter back and forth. I’ve never done a Day-of-the-wedding shoot before, but I love them! Joleen, Jason, and I had a great time in the freezing snow today! Joleen and Jason have been dating for 16 years, and are still completely and totally in love. They are a positive and happy couple, and a joy to be around. They both teach P.E. for the Anchorage School District, and love Cross Country and Hockey, so I knew we needed to be shooting outside. I always love to see couples who’ve kept the spark of love alive in their relationship. I wish you both all the best in your new marriage. Thanks for letting be a part of your special day!
